On an April 2005 trip, Joe and 5 friends took a weekend trip to the Big Easy. The first picture on the right is the Port of New Orleans' Harbor on the mighty Mississippi. This was not the levy that burst into downtown New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit, though I'm sure it was close! The lower picture is of Joe and friends at the picturesque, cultural center of New Orleans, Jackson Square.

Hopefully, upon our arrival in Novemeber 2006, these sights will be returned to their original beauty.

Finally we have a Profile picture of the Brothers Palmquist. This shot was taken in August 2005 on a week long BWCA trip into Lake One along the Kawishiwi River. It was a change from our previous trips on bigger water, like Brule Lake, but it was fun nonetheless.
