Hi. I just read the article about your trip and service in the Winona Daily News. I've heard of others from Winona who have made personal journeys down the Mississippi; however, I was enlightened by the fact that you chose to help others once you reached your destination. I'm afraid there aren't enough people like you. Be proud.
To think that all of your life's needs could be found in the small area of your canoe...makes me wonder if we citizens of the world couldn't try to think more about needs and wants and what is really important, before we buy and throw...
As time goes on, it will become more and more apparent to us, that we need to more wisely use and share our resources...
Just a little thought prompted by the brothers for the river expedition...Thank you...
