Day 2: 8/28/06

Mealtime at the end of day one (above) consisted of couscous and summer sausage. mmm mmm. Below, Joe gets gear ready in the morning before leaving our Island Point campsite. The island was tiny and the mud was everywhere. Day one we paddled 12 miles and day two we paddled 16, although it felt like 3o paddling into the wind across Cass Lake.
