Day 34: 10/3/06

Leaving Dubuque, we noticed that painted alongside most of the storm drains in downtown, were stencils saying where the sewer drains to...in this case the Mississippi and the Gulf. Hoo-ray stencils! Hoo-ray Dubuque!
Ben tries his hand at snake charming. Somebody's got to take over where The Crocodile Hunter left off. This was the second Garder Snake that we intercepted swimming across the channel. We think he was eager to take a break on some solid ground. We weren't going to deny him a breather.

"I HAVE CREATED FIRE!" Ben celebrates successful combustion with a 4-armed wave in front of the fire, on top of a sand dune.
