Day 10: 9/5/06
Today we paddled 27 miles from near Jacobsen to Palisade, MN. Palisade is a tiny river town with one major road running through it. On that major road, semis and school buses ran constantly ALL MORNING. This wasn't appreciated because we had coyotes yipping at us ALL NIGHT.
On top, a railroad bridge turned bike path running over the Mississippi near our campsite.
Below, Ben prepares one of our favorite meals, one box of mac and cheese and one can of chili. It makes one of the midwest's staple foods...HOTDISH!
